This is a new confirmed block to arrive in update 2.0 (formally known as 1.8). These blocks have been labelled as "glowblocks" and "light blocks," but it is unsure what they're name is or what they truely are, but a Light Block seems to be the popular consensus. The light block looks like a Medieval oil lantern, and before this was introduced, users often mistook Tile Blocks for lights. These blocks DO light up, and if painted, they make for colored lighting. There isn't a night time coming to Eden (As of current sources), but the user can color the sky, which includes black which makes it darker out. These blocks will be of better use then. Lighting effects will also be a good use for these.
Trivia
- The Light Blocks give off light.
- They can be coloured, thus giving off that coloured light.
- Many users will use these as Lanterns when released.
