Dirt is a common block that is found from the layer of grass down until stone. It is natural and not flammable. it is generally not used.

The texture for dirt is found on the bottom of grass and flower blocks.
In a flat world, there are an approximately 15 dirt blocks before you hit stone.
Dirt can be found in any world (flat or normal).
