Avatar

The avatar is the person (presumably human) controlled by the player or user. It is two blocks high and can jump one block high. It can interact in the world by destroying things with a pickaxe, building things, painting things, and setting things on fire. There is no image of it and you can't see any part of it. The avatar can also be hurt by some things. The player uses the user interface to control the avatar. It is the only character the player can use. It can interact with creatures and some blocks like ladders and vines. If the player makes the avatar do things like break blocks or go in a certain area, sound and ambient noise occur.
