The avatar is the person (presumably human) controlled by the player or user. It is two [[block]]s high and can jump one block high. It can interact in the world by destroying things with a [[pickaxe]], building things, [[painting]] things, and setting things on [[fire]]. There is no image of it and you can't see any part of it. The avatar can also be [[hurt]] by some things. The player uses the [[User Interface|user interface]] to control the avatar. It is the only character the player can use. It can interact with [[creatures]] and some blocks like [[ladder]]s and [[vines]]. If the player makes the avatar do things like break blocks or go in a certain area, [[Sound and Ambient noise|sound and ambient noise]] occur. The Avatar cannot be seen by the user and therefore it is not customizable, It is also unknown if these features would be added in in future updates.
