The most common depiction of the Avatar.

The avatar is the unseen entity controlled by the player or user. It is two blocks high and can jump one block high. It can interact with the world by destroying blocks with the pickaxe, placing blocks, painting blocks, and setting blocks on fire. There is no picture of the avatar. The avatar can be hurt (as shown by a red flash), but is invincible. In Update 2.0 you can turn health on and get hurt. If you die, your screen turns black and you are teleported home.

The player uses the user interface to control the avatar. It is the only character the player can use. It can interact with creatures and some blocks. When the avatar interacts with the generated world, certain things occur (Ex: breaking blocks or entering a certain area will cause ambient sound and ambient noise to occur.) As can be seen by the picture above, a popular way to make "people" throughout their world is placing 2 solid colored blocks down.

Trivia[]

  • The Avatar is currently not seen.
  • People make their depiction of the avatar by placing two sand blocks on top of one another and coloring the bottom sand block.
  • You may be able to create your avatar and see it in a future update.
  • The Avatar sees the world slightly fish-eyed as of Update 2.0.

Most Avatars are usually seen in maps like City with airport V3
